Our Story:
My journey started with a promise—one made in the quiet, uncertain moments following a life-changing diagnosis. I am Kayla Day, and I founded A Parent's Promise, LLC, to ensure that no family walks their path alone. This community is built on the belief that through faith, resilience, and shared experience, we find the strength to navigate every challenge with hope and purpose. A Parent's Promise, LLC, was created to build relationships and match families/individuals with the resources that best suit their needs.
Parent-led, Faith Based Help:
Referrals to Specific Resources for Individuals/Families
We walk alongside parents of children with rare and complex medical conditions, as well as individuals of any age searching for life-changing resources, providing a supportive community built on resilience and faith.
A Promise Kept
When I looked at my daughter, I made a promise -- that her diagnosis would never define her limits, and that her voice would be heard in rooms where decisions are made. That promise carried me to Harrisburg, where I earned a seat on the Pennsylvania Rare Disease Advisory Council and stood before leaders to advocate not only for her but for every child and family navigating rare disease. This work is more than service; it is faith in action. It is a mother's commitment to turn challenge into change, ensuring that no family walks this road alone.
